Background	Mycoplasma are a mollicute genus of bacteria that lack a cell wall around their cell membranes. This characteristic makes them naturally resistant to many common antibiotics such as penicillin or other beta-lactam antibiotics that target cell wall synthesis. They can be parasitic or saprotrophic.
Storage	Store at 4°C for 6 months. It is recommended to aliquote to ~10ul per vial and store at -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
