Inflammatory targets

Thyroid hormone synthesis and regulation is a delicate biological process involving multiple biomarkers, These include Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Triiodothyronine (T3) and Thyroxine (T4). These hormones are not only essential for maintaining basal metabolic rate, promoting protein synthesis and regulating energy expenditure, but are also closely related to multiple physiological processes such as cardiovascular function, growth and development, and brain development. KMD Bioscience's diagnostic raw material reagent platform can provide customers with Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Triiodothyronine (T3) and Thyroxine (T4) related diagnostic reagents:

Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)

TSH is regulated by the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis and is a thyroid-stimulating hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary gland. The TSH ingredient in the in vitro diagnostic kit is used to assess thyroid function, including determining hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. TSH activates the synthesis and release of thyroid hormone by binding to the TSH receptor on the surface of thyroid cells.

Triiodothyronine (T3)

T3 is the most active thyroid hormone in the body, and most of it is converted from T4 in peripheral tissues. In vitro diagnostic reagents for triiodothyronine T3 are used to evaluate the transformation and metabolic status of thyroid hormones. T3 regulates gene expression by entering cells and binding to nuclear receptors, thereby affecting metabolism and a variety of other biological functions.

Thyroxine (T4)

T4 is the main hormone secreted by the thyroid gland and is a precursor to T3 in the body. The determination of T4 is used to evaluate the synthetic function of the thyroid gland and is one of the main indicators for in vitro diagnosis of thyroid diseases. T4 exists primarily in the blood as binding proteins, which are released into the body and converted into T3 in the liver and kidneys, where they exert biological activity.
