Background	Immunoglobulin M (IgM) is the largest immunoglobulin in terms of molecular weight and is mainly synthesised by plasma cells in the spleen and lymph nodes, and is divided into two subtypes, IgMl and IgM2. It is mainly found in serum in the form of pentamers and accounts for 5% to 10% of total serum Ig.
Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2°C-8°C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -80°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
