GST Fusion Protein Purification Service
GST fusion protein has been widely used in recombinant protein expression and production. GST folds rapidly into a stable and highly soluble protein upon translation, so the inclusion of the GST tag often promotes greater expression and solubility of recombinant proteins than expression without the tag. GST-tagged fusion proteins can also be purified or detected based on the ability of GST to bind its substrate, glutathione (GSH).
