Custom Antibody Pairing Service

KMD Bioscience can provide you with project-specific antibody screening and matching services based on GMP guidelines. KMD Bioscience can provide antibody pairing services. In the development of ELISA assays, in vitro diagnostic materials (IVD), and subsequent experiments, antibodies and standard proteins are key reagents. Commercialized antibodies are not suitable for all experiments, and the use of paired antibodies can improve the accuracy of ELISA assays. Therefore, KMD Bioscience scientists can provide customized antibody pairs, and we have also produced and rigorously tested paired antibodies to help scientists around the world complete accurate subsequent experiments.

Antibody Pairing Service

Paired antibodies are the same target, but two different antibodies are produced due to different epitopes or binding regions, allowing the same target to bind to two antibodies. They can be well applied in Sandwich ELISA detection, drug development, protein-protein interaction, and other biological research. Antibody pairing screening methods include SPR, ELISA testing, etc.

Custom ELISA Assay Development

ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) is a medium- and high-throughput screening technology based on solid-phase carriers. It is widely used to qualitatively and quantitatively detect the content of peptides, proteins, antibodies, and hormones in samples. In an ELISA assay, the antibody or antigen is pre-bound to the ELISA plate (96-well plate) and labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP), alkaline phospholipase (AP) or other chemiluminescent groups. The antibody or antigen is subjected to a color reaction. As shown in Figure 1, there are four main ELISA methods: Sandwich ELISA, Competitive ELISA (detection of antigen), Indirect ELISA (assay antibody), or Competitive ELISA (detection of small molecule compound), and the latter three are more commonly used.

The development of the ELISA (enzyme-linked immunoassay) kit mainly involves the screening of antibody pairs. The performance of the antibody and the difference in recognition sites directly determine the quality of the ELISA kit. After antibody pairing, the work to be verified includes the detection sensitivity, linear range, repeatability, specificity, and thermal stability.
