Anti-idiotypic Antibody Development Service

 

An anti-idiotypic antibody is an antibody that binds to the variable region (idiotypic) of another antibody. Anti-idiotypic antibodies include single chain variable fragments (scFv), Fab fragments, and bispecific antibody forms. Anti-idiotypic antibodies are divided into anti-paratope antibodies and anti-idiotypic epitope antibodies. Anti-idiotypic epitope antibodies can be used to study soluble drug target antibodies, while both types on the cell surface can be analyzed, In drug development, it can be used for pharmacokinetic (PK) determination of antibody-drug levels in vivo, as well as for anti-drug antibody (ADA) detection to detect immune responses to therapeutic antibodies.

Antibody Affinity Maturation Service

 

Antibody affinity maturation and affinity drug screening are interrelated concepts crucial for developing therapeutic antibodies. Affinity maturation optimizes antibody efficacy, while affinity drug screening identifies antibodies with desired affinity characteristics for drug development. KMD Bioscience uses phage display library technology, and combined with error-prone PCR and site-directed mutagenesis, we were able to mimic these over-frequency cellular mutations. Our technical advantage lies in the ability to mutate rapidly in vitro and construct more than 1010 independent clones of antibody phage display libraries so that high specificity and affinity antibodies can be obtained in a short time.

 

Recombinant Antibody Development Service

 

Recombinant antibodies can be produced through phage display antibody libraries, resulting in three types of recombinant antibody libraries: naive, synthetic, and immune. Another method is to isolate mRNA from hybridoma cell lines and invert it into cDNA. Then, the heavy chain and light chain genes are amplified separately, and the genes are connected to expression vectors for recombinant antibody expression and purification.
