Compared with hybridoma technology, hybridomas prepared by phage library technology can be stored on phagemid vectors in the form of antibody genes, combining the advantages of different protein expression systems, such as the use of cell-free expression systems, enabling animal-free production and obtaining high specificity and high affinity recombinant monoclonal antibody. The ability of rabbit monoclonal antibodies to recognize the common antigenic determinants of rodents and human antigens is much better than that of murine monoclonal antibodies, which is also due to the distant evolution of rats and mice commonly used in rabbits and rodents.
