PVR/CD155 Target

CD155 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and is a transmembrane adhesion protein, also known as poliovirus receptor, NECL-5, PVS, PVR. It is mainly expressed on the surface of immune cells, such as monocytes, macrophages, and thymocytes, with lower levels found on other cell types. The CD155 gene encodes a protein consisting of 417 amino acids and contains three immunoglobulin-like domains. CD155 can participate in the various cellular processes including migration, proliferation, differentiation, polarization, survival and adhesion. Additionally, it interacts with the co-stimulatory receptors like DNAX helper molecule-1, the co-inhibitory receptor T-cell immunoglobulin and ITIM structural domains, and the co-inhibitory receptor CD96. These interactions are important in tumor-related research, and can be used in the regulation of the immune cell function.
